A Lovely Sneak Attack

Our sponsor, yesterday, for the sneak attack was Crystal from World of Mine. Because she’s from Australia, and our time differences are so great – she popped in and out when she could. In between she took naps – love her dedication! And when she did, she presented us with some great clues set as anagrams – those are always fun to try and figure out.

Crystal introduced us to 3 great new Etsy shops.

The first one was Homegrown Accents featuring wonderful jewelry, soaps, lotions and more! Love these earrings, but of course you knew that – my being obsessed with them :D

The second one was Kotta Art featuring creative paintings and drawings. My favorite:

The third one was Star Dazzle By CG featuring adorable bows – completely unique!

Be sure to check out all the terrific creations from our ‘victims’!

If you have never been to one of our sneak attacks, you will find a very friendly bunch of people, who will make you welcome and let you know more about what we do. You can find additional information at our Handmade Movement site – how you can join, how you can become a sponsor, how we choose our victims, and even a give away or two.

Have you seen these earring holders?

I found these darling little pierced earring holders. Actually, made of Teflon mesh and framed in wood, these holders are hand-painted and have room for lots of earrings. The smaller sized ones, hold 10-25 pairs of earrings (5×7), depending on the size, and the larger ones hold 20-35 (7×10).

I am currently offering a selection of them in both sizes. I have a very limited supply and the lead time for re-ordering is extremely long as they are each hand done. So get them while you can.

Here are a couple of the smaller sizes that are available:

Have fun browsing these neat earring holders!

Before and After Pictures

Last year, during November, I went to Ohio to spend Thanksgiving with my sister and her husband, my Mom, who lives with them, and my oldest daughter who flew in to visit as well. We had a really great visit.

I had parked my car in the airport parking garage at our airport, something I had done too many times to count.

When I returned, I found that my car back bumper had been hit.

After waiting an hour to report the accident at the airport, I went home and hubby said he could fix it – just hammer out the dent and it would be good as new.

Then in the middle of December, we were stopped at a traffic light and the car behind us did not stop – resulting in a cracked back bumper on the other side.

This time, we decided to get it fixed, since the fix would be paid for by the other driver’s insurance instead of ours. Of course we paid a portion of the whole bill – because she did not cause the first damage.

Now I have a new back bumper – and I’m almost too scared to drive it :D

We’ve had the car over 5 years and this is the first time we’ve had any problem – hope it’s not starting a trend.
