Wow – what a wonderful collection of comments for this Bloggy Giveaway! I was touched by a lot of you. I have to tell you, for those who asked – I didn’t make these beautiful ornaments. Wish I did. I do crochet but have never made anything as delicate as these. They come from Heritage Lace, and for those of you who didn’t win, please take a look at our Macrame Ornament Collection.

In order to select the winner from such a large number of comments, I reached back to my days of working for the Federal Government. I was a DBA – data base administrator. I used the SQL language – for those of you who might be familiar. I recently moved my blog from the WordPress servers, to my own servers that house my website Sandi’s T’s. Because of that, the posts and comments are stored in a MySql database, and I was able to use my sql knowledge to get the winners name. I used the random number generator on-line, to select the number of the winner comment.
