I am an avid reader, paperback books and hardback books, fiction and non-fiction. I guess you could call me a book worm – as my nose is frequently in a book

Whenever, I used to travel for work, I would take a couple of paperback books with me to read – on the plane, in the hotel, etc. I always had a problem keeping my place, always forgetting my bookmark at home. And the covers of my paperback books got crushed, or folded, and always looked unsightly.

As my business, Sandi’s T’s, continued to build, I thought it would be nice to find somewhere that offered unique bookmarks, or book covers for the different sizes of books that I read. And I found, not one, but 2 collections that offer book covers that fit the bill.

The first collection that I found has a perfect variety of book covers! Made of cotton or cotton blend fabrics, lined with foam, and completely machine washable! They have a Velcro closure.

There is a size for standard Paperback books, a new size for slightly larger paperback books, that a lot of publishers are going to, a third size for paperbacks, and a size for Hardback books as well. There is even a special book cover for your Bible. The Bible sized book covers are made of Tapestry and need to be dry cleaned.

The second collection I found was a variety of Quilted Bookcovers – large and small sizes, depending on the size of book you want to cover. These too are machine washable.

This one is from a pattern called Meridian Navy. There are pockets inside and out, and a bookmark as well. They close with a zipper.

Perhaps you have friends who are avid book readers and love unique bookmarks – our bookmarks are very reasonable and make terrific gifts for friends and family members. We also offer Handpainted Bookmarks- created by a local artist – Linda Lewis. These one-of-a-kind bookmarks are made with two layers of heavy watercolor paper, hand-painted, then protected with a coat of satin varnish on both sides. Each of our handpainted bookmarks are approximately 9″ long x 1.5″ wide.
