This giveaway will be going from today – April 26, 2009 until 5pm on Friday, May 1, 2009. I have to limit the winner to the US this time so that the prize can be mailed in enough time for Mother’s Day.
At 5pm on Friday, I will do a random drawing for our winner. I will be shipping the prize to our winner via priority mail so that it will arrive in plenty of time, for a gift for Mom.
If you win, are you planning on giving your wall hanging to your Mom? If so, and you would have to mail the prize to her, I will mail it for you – gift wrapped, and including a little gift card if you want. Of course, you could always keep the prize for yourself

That is very lovely!! It would go so nice near a wooden plaque I have that says the same thing. The wooden plaque was my Mother’s and was passed on to me when she passed away in 1977. When I was growing up my Dad was in the forces and we moved at least once a year, sometimes more. The very first thing we would do upon arriving at our new place to live, we to hang that plaque. Mom would always say “Well, NOW we are home”
I treasure that memory and have continued the tradition, it now hangs above my kitchen sink, above the window, at our cottage.
I’m sorry to hear that I can’t win as I live in Canada, but I will pass on this message to my sons and their families, as a hint at what they could give me. As my Mother is no longer with me, if you change your mind regarding allowing Canadians to enter, it wouldn’t bother me in the least if it was a tad late – just a thought…..

This is a beautiful wall hanging. I love the Victorian style. The house on the hanging is very similar to one I lived in as a child! And it even has burgundy in it which are the colors I use in my home! Mary Struck

My mom would have loved this. I lost her in December so this will be my first Mother’s Day without her. I would hang this in my home to remind me of how much my mother always believed that when you had a home to call your own and a family to love you had everything in the world.

Hello There! This is simply beautiful and as much as I would like it in my home I’d have to give it to my Mom. She is going through a lot right now and I really feel sorry for her. I think this could help cheer up her mood. Sometimes we need reminded that God does bless us. We are too busy worrying and comparing to just think about our many blessings we already have.
