My favorite July 4th celebration was when my Grandmother Joyce was still alive. She hosted the best bingo games + made the best desserts! Mmmm…

  • My favorite July 4th celebration is hanging out with my family all day at the pow-wow grounds. The kids have fun playing on all the water slides and jumping castles. We usually have a cake for my son whose birthday is July 3rd (he thinks the fireworks are for him every year) And when it gets dark we watch the huge firework display my brother, my hubby & about 10 other guys have spent all week setting up. :) It’s really great. If you’re ever in NE WA you should definitely catch this show.

I like when my husband and dad barbecue together and serve us a great feast, including all the kids and grandkids! Such fun, and then we go see the fireworks.

What a sweet blanket! My favorite 4th of July celebration will be (I’m sure) next year (2010) when my grandson finally finishes his 2nd tour in Iraq and can be with his family again. This little blanket would be for his 3 yr old son who sure misses him a lot. Thanks for the chance.

My favorite celebration was last summer when we spent the day with my mother in law–complete with barbaque and fire works. We didn’t know it would be her last
