Back in September of last year I started a weekly post about my favorite shop. I’ve been pondering if I wanted to continue with it, or change it. While walking on the treadmill – the best time for mulling over ideas – I decided that I wanted to stick with My Favorite Shop but now make it My Favorite Shops.

I belong to 4 wonderful Etsy groups, and know so many of the members, and LOVE their work! Why not feature one artist from each group – every week. So here, at The T-Shirt Lady, starting today, I’ll be featuring 4 terrific Etsy shops and their owners in no particular order, since everything you see here, will be GREAT!

One of my friends from the Etsytwitter Team is Valerie, from Crochet Gal She is great source of all kinds of yarn – and believe me, much of my yarn stash is from Valerie!

Valerie also creates wearable art – she has a way of working with hooks and yarn, that will make you drool! And Valerie creates many of her designs – such as the Ruana Wrap seen here:

Says Valerie: What is a Ruana? A Ruana is a versatile garment that can be worn many ways. Just draped over your shoulders it is a basic shawl. Toss one end over your shoulder with an elegant pin or brooch and it has a completely different look.

Joey from the Etsybloggers Street Team is the owner of Joey and Aleethea the creator of monster shirts monster jeans ankle biters lounge pants. She is also the Admin and Team Leader of the group. It took me awhile to figure out what ankle biters were – so here they are!

Says Joey: Our Ankle Biters have a very comfortable fit to allow for the daily adventures with your baby or kiddo. The pants have an comfy elastic waist, and are roomy and wide-legged. Easy on and off for babies and those potty-trainers, and just all around awesome for all ages!

I’m still not sure why they are called ‘ankle biters’ – and believe me, they didn’t have these adorable children’s clothing when my girls were babies!

Joy, who is a member of the SNEAK Team and owner of The Art Of Joy is a working mom, with a 1 year old son. And she runs her delightful Etsy Shop. Talk about multi tasking! Creating original designs on paper and stickers – Joy has a number of items in her shop that will enable you to leave ‘Sweet Nothings’ around for your special someone. Use these delightful mini notes – in lunch boxes, sandwich bags, on the seat of the car – you get the picture – let him know how much you care.

Says Joy: I pretty much try my hand at anything when it comes to art… I’ve done some paintings and collages… but presently, I’m in love with paper!

The newest team I have joined is the  Hoarders Unite – boy do I qualify for that team – call it stash, or hoard, I have lots! So as a new member I searched Etsy to see what some of the members had listed – with HoardersUnite as a tag. And found a delightful item from Heather of Le Boudoir Secret perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Says Heather: Le Boudoir Secret is a hitchhiker on the Handmade Highway!
