National Take Back Your Time Week

watches

Reclaim your time, energy, and life by letting go of the nonessential demands and activities that steal your free time.

When is the last time someone asked “how are you” and you did not reply “busy?”

Do you find yourself paging through your calendar weeks in advance just to schedule coffee with a friend? How many times do you need a weekend to recover from your weekend of running around doing errands to catch up from the workweek?

Sound familiar? You are not alone.

Are you spending your time in a way that is consistent with your life plan? Or do you find yourself wasting your precious minutes, doing things that you don’t enjoy?

National Take Back Your Time Week, held during the last full work week in January, is designated for self-reflection. Participants are encouraged to analyze whether their time is being spent the best possible way towards their life goals.

National Take Back Your Time Week also promotes a less hectic lifestyle to protect the planet by saving carbon emissions and reducing the number of hours that Americans work.  More…

Time to take a deep breathe and enjoy life instead of being so busy that you haven’t time for you!

  • Thanks for posting this. I thought the answer was a clone, because I’m not sure I have to time to take back my time.

  • How relevant is this? I’m always promising myself that I’ll dial it back and relax, but it’s sort of impossible working full time and running my Etsy shop. And I always kind of feel like it’s the shop that suffers. Hmmm. Here I am, stressing out about how to find time to relax! Oh boy. I’ve got my work cut out for me . . .
