Go red to raise awareness about women’s cardiovascular disease during the month of February, which is American Heart Month.
The national Wear Red Day is a campaign started by the American Heart Association in 2002 pointing out that the disease is the number one killer of women.
The association says “our near-term goal is nothing less than a 25 percent reduction in coronary heart disease and stroke risk by the year 2010.”
Wear red today please!
