Do you have a lot of earrings?

I have been collecting earrings for years. When I was working I wore earrings that would complement my outfits. It was lots of fun. Now I have a ton of earrings, many I’ve not worn for quite awhile and I may see if any of my children would like them. Right now they are all stored in a box.

Recently I started collecting earrings from Etsy shops – many of the shops owned by people that I know, and I love all my new earrings. But I have a dilemma. I don’t have anywhere to put these new earrings! I don’t want to just put them in a box – these earrings are ones that I want to wear frequently.

So I made a cute little shallow felted bowl that I thought would work. Ah… there are too many pairs of earrings in the bowl and it’s hard to pick through them to find a pair to wear. And I don’t want to damage them as I am rummaging.

I have found the solution! These adorable earring holders that are created out of mesh, and framed with wood. Then the mesh is painted with a delightful scene or boss design. This earring holder can sit on your dresser or vanity table, or hung on the wall. The one I chose to use is the Bamboo design in the 7″x10″ size – which can hold 20-35 pairs of earrings depending on the size. This is the way the earring holder looks before you load it up! Standing on a table…

Hanging on the wall…

Viola – all my new earrings are hanging on the holder (please excuse the angle of the picture – the holder is rectangular in shape)

Notice the one hanging on the bottom by itself? If I’d had this hanger when I got those earrings, I might have actually had a pair :D

You can see these large (7×10) and small (5×7) earring holders at Sandi’s T’s
