Recently I answered an ad from My Shopping Connection about handmade items to be featured in a Holiday Gift Guide.

I sent in a sample of my crocheted chokers and a sample of my coffee cozies. There were no guarantees that I would be included. And that was ok – it was a way of getting exposure as well as figuring out what might be of interest.

Well, this weekend I got an email telling me that the Guide was now online and available for shoppers to check out. Here is the link to the guide!

In checking out the guide I found that my crocheted choker is featured!

One of my friends in the Etsytwitter mentioned that she was in there also! So I went back and looked at all of the items listed, and found several other team members. Christmas always has a way of sneaking up on me! I looked at a counter graphic and found that Christmas is 52 days away. Much closer than I thought.

Let’s start with what kind of gift you can give that won’t be really expensive. With the trend turning back to handmade and handcrafted items, rather than store bought,  I’d like to recommend Etsy for your Christmas shopping. And you can shop from home – save gas!

Not familiar with Etsy? Your place to buy all things handmade. Etsy offers just about anything you are looking for in the way of a gift for that special someone.
