I belong to 4 Etsy groups and always find it difficult to pick my favorite! Today was no exception

From my Sneak Team I want to tell you a little about Kirby from Happy Hound Creative. Kirby’s shop specializes in custom stationary for all occasions. As part of the sneak team, I had the honor of ‘attacking’ Kirby’s shop during one particular sneak. It was so much fun to get a member caught unawares.

At that attack I purchased some custom cards with Thank You on them – similar to the photo below. And they were so well done, that I’m going to have Kirby create some for me that say Congratulations. I’m always running a contest on my website – so I wanted a special card that I could write a little note to the winner. Yeah Kirby!!

As part of the Hoarders Unite Team – I’m still learning who all the members are. So I did a search in Etsy for tags of HoardersUnite. Well if you have been reading my posts - you know that I love felted items and earrings too! I found the these purple felted earrings created by Suzanne at Elephant Walk

Nina, from Pretty Cheap Jewelry is a member of the Etsytwitter team. I met Nina when I won a quick contest that she was running in twitter. I received some delightful prizes, and I don’t remember if that friendship started me on my association with the team or not. But it’s a lot of fun, and Nina is very creative. Don’t let the name of her shop fool ya!

One of our new members at the Etsybloggers Street Team is Regina from The Ash Grove. When I was introducing myself to her, I took a look at her shop and found this adorable crocheted headband! Regina also does graphics work – so check out her shop!

My Favorite Shops

Back in September of last year I started a weekly post about my favorite shop. I’ve been pondering if I wanted to continue with it, or change it. While walking on the treadmill – the best time for mulling over ideas – I decided that I wanted to stick with My Favorite Shop but now make it My Favorite Shops.

I belong to 4 wonderful Etsy groups, and know so many of the members, and LOVE their work! Why not feature one artist from each group – every week. So here, at The T-Shirt Lady, starting today, I’ll be featuring 4 terrific Etsy shops and their owners in no particular order, since everything you see here, will be GREAT!

One of my friends from the Etsytwitter Team is Valerie, from Crochet Gal She is great source of all kinds of yarn – and believe me, much of my yarn stash is from Valerie!

Valerie also creates wearable art – she has a way of working with hooks and yarn, that will make you drool! And Valerie creates many of her designs – such as the Ruana Wrap seen here:

Says Valerie: What is a Ruana? A Ruana is a versatile garment that can be worn many ways. Just draped over your shoulders it is a basic shawl. Toss one end over your shoulder with an elegant pin or brooch and it has a completely different look.

Joey from the Etsybloggers Street Team is the owner of Joey and Aleethea the creator of monster shirts monster jeans ankle biters lounge pants. She is also the Admin and Team Leader of the group. It took me awhile to figure out what ankle biters were – so here they are!

Says Joey: Our Ankle Biters have a very comfortable fit to allow for the daily adventures with your baby or kiddo. The pants have an comfy elastic waist, and are roomy and wide-legged. Easy on and off for babies and those potty-trainers, and just all around awesome for all ages!

I’m still not sure why they are called ‘ankle biters’ – and believe me, they didn’t have these adorable children’s clothing when my girls were babies!

Joy, who is a member of the SNEAK Team and owner of The Art Of Joy is a working mom, with a 1 year old son. And she runs her delightful Etsy Shop. Talk about multi tasking! Creating original designs on paper and stickers – Joy has a number of items in her shop that will enable you to leave ‘Sweet Nothings’ around for your special someone. Use these delightful mini notes – in lunch boxes, sandwich bags, on the seat of the car – you get the picture – let him know how much you care.

Says Joy: I pretty much try my hand at anything when it comes to art… I’ve done some paintings and collages… but presently, I’m in love with paper!

The newest team I have joined is the Hoarders Unite – boy do I qualify for that team – call it stash, or hoard, I have lots! So as a new member I searched Etsy to see what some of the members had listed – with HoardersUnite as a tag. And found a delightful item from Heather of Le Boudoir Secret perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Says Heather: Le Boudoir Secret is a hitchhiker on the Handmade Highway!

My Favorite Shop – Foxy G Knits

Today, my favorite shop is Foxy G Knits – owned by a gal named Lois who is also a member of the Etsytwitter Team.

Lois is a special friend. She is so helpful, always tweeting about what’s going on in our group as well as promoting artists and fun stuff on her blog.

In deciding to feature Lois today, I had a difficult time figuring out which of her delicious looking scarves to show you. As her shop states – Knits – I’m impressed with her skill and imagination. I crochet only – no knitting, and can’t figure out how she combines the yarns the way she does.

Anyway, let’s browse through her shop:

Here’s a Pink and Purple Ruffled Scarf. I tried to make a ruffle scarf using crochet, and my hands got all tangled up in the yarn

Next we have her Goddess Shawl – remember what I said about her combining the yarns…

This shawl was made by her 90 year old mother, and according to Lois
All proceeds from the sale of this shawl will be donated to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Foundation in Chicago, Illinois where we have set up a scholarship fund in memory of my late sister who was a nurse. The scholarship benefits neuro intensive care nurses’ continuing education.

Purchase this shawl and not only will you look Ravishing, but you will be helping a good cause as well.
