One of my favorite shops is the shop of the week. Foxy G Knits. Lois, the owner of the shop, is a great lady, always there to lend a hand and advice. She knits some of the most beautiful scarves and shawls.

Lois’ use of a variety of yarns makes each creation an OAK!

Lois is currently having huge discounts on some of the items in her store – this is a great time to visit and purchase something for yourself or a gift.

Wellspring Creations is the shop of the week from the Etsytwitter team.

Judy and I frequently have wonderful conversations in Twitter, and she is always so upbeat and has wonderful ideas.

To take a look at her jewelry – you know that Judy has her customers’ delight in mind as she creates each piece using wire and a variety of stones.

Now you know how obsessed I am with earrings – who could pass these breast cancer awareness earrings by? Especially since this subject is so close to my heart.

A friend of mine, Tracey from Tracey Knits who is also a member of the Etsytwitter Team with me, has featured my shop on her blog!

Are you a video game lover? Do you like unusual crafts? Well, you have come to the right place. Lauren from Lost Mitten describes herself as a video game addict, ranging from the early days of the Atari and Nintendo to the latest games for the Wii and Nintendo DS.

Lauren makes the neatest looking accessories for your games. One of my all time favorite games is Pacman. Lauren’s avatar is of the Pacman characters, she even has a set of coasters for Pacman. These are glow in the dark made with beads.

I didn’t think I would be able to write this post – as I’m having dsl problems and have had for a week. I was so looking forward to letting you know about this artist. And an artist is what she is. Besides which, she loves yarn, like I do.

Shop of the Week – Journey of Love Designs

Wow, it is so much fun to see what imaginative things have been created by our Etsytwitter Team members!

And Denise Kung, of Journey of Love Designs is no exception. Her theme is Sweet Paper Gifts. Now normally, when I think of Paper creations, I’m leaning more towards greeting cards. Yes, Journey of Love Designs does have greeting cards, but Denise goes beyond that. I love this ornament! Titled Chinese New Year – you can use it to celebrate that holiday in February. The Chinese Characters mean “fortune”.

Denise also make the most adorable Wedding/Bridal/Baby Shower Party Favors. These little teabag favors are perfect for tea party themed shower! They are closed by a magnet and can stand up. Comes with tea bag, bow and event information tag.

One of the things I like about being a member of a team, is you get to meet really great people, who are also extremely talented.

One of those is Jen from Jenco13.

Says Jen: I love each item I make and sometimes find them very hard to part with!

Her cup cozies are an inspiration for mine. Made in crochet – Jen adds a cute little crocheted flower to each one!

Shop of the Week – Linda B’s Beaded Jewelry

Linda from Linda B’s Beaded Jewelry says I love color and what the colors symbolize and you can tell by the jewelry as well as other items that Linda creates.

In addition to bracelets, earrings, and pendants, Linda also makes wire Kippahs and gorgeous Judaica themed creations that she is happy to customize with favorite colors or gemstones.

One of her Kippahs – Kippot (plural) or chapel caps or headcoverings are worn by Jewish women at synagogue is a treasure to be seen and worn.

Having grown up myself in a Jewish home, I remember the women wearing scarves at the synagogue, wouldn’t they have looked wonderful in this?

Of course we can’t forget Christmas – and I love these earrings. Ok, so you know how I love earrings

Shop of the Week – Cape Cod Jewel

I belong to a great group – Etsytwitter Team and I have to tell you that there is a lot of wonderful talent in this group. It amazes me at the imagination and inspiration that exists!

This week’s shop Cape Cod Jewel is no exception.

Owner Linda Stranger says: My best inspiration comes when I sit at my work desk and play with my beads and wire and findings… I love it when a piece of jewelry just seems to make itself while I’m playing.

Remember what I said about imagination. Who would have thought to use jigsaw puzzle pieces to make earrings – aren’t these too cute??

And since I love earrings of all kinds – I was delighted with these!

Now I thought the fish were cute – but what really impressed me was how she used gold plated brass headpins, hand shaped into earwires. I would love to be able to do that!
