Lovely Fiber!

Our sponsor yesterday for the sneak attack, Heather from Winemaker’s Sister, introduced us to two wonderful new Etsy shops – both featuring fiber of some kind, whether hand spun, or ready to be spun. And they were a big hit as many of us members are obsessed with fiber! Many of our members knit, some crochet and others spin yarn. Oh and we have at least one or two members who make needle felted items. So if you too are a lover of fiber – here’s your chance to get some great items!

Our 1st shop was Bramble Lane Fiber I love this shop owner’s comments: This shop is the result of a hobby gone out of control. It is also my “other 8 hours”, the ones that help keep me sane! If you spin or do needle felting you will find that this batting will look so beautiful!

Our 2nd shop was Three Little Crows featuring hand dyed yarn that is so gorgeous, like this one which is made of merino wool and silk. According to the owner, this skein of yarn has been dyed in a unique way to represent the way that black feathers show their true colors when the sun shines upon them.

A Lovely Sneak Attack

Our sponsor, yesterday, for the sneak attack was Crystal from World of Mine. Because she’s from Australia, and our time differences are so great – she popped in and out when she could. In between she took naps – love her dedication! And when she did, she presented us with some great clues set as anagrams – those are always fun to try and figure out.

Crystal introduced us to 3 great new Etsy shops.

A weekend sneak attack!

What a great weekend. We started a sneak attack yesterday at 11am Etsy time, sponsored by Maria from MsBittyKnacks and she introduced us to 5 new ‘victims’ each having lots of creative items to choose from. And because this is a weekend attack, these shops will be listed on our handmade movement site until the end of today – for your viewing and purchasing pleasure!

Our first victim was help4brothernothers This shop is a charity shop, where 100% of the proceeds go to raise funds for Mitochondrial Disease research. Hosted by two sisters, raising money to help their brother as well as others, with this disease. You can read the DeStephano story… You can help – and get one of these crocheted dishcloths…

Our second victim was Pretty Soul gorgeous photographs available to hang, on mouse pads, on greeting cards and more! How can you resist this?

Our third victim was Mertle the Birdle featuring an array of beautiful and unusual earrings! Like these made from old yard sticks.

Our fourth victim was Green House Boutique featuring upcycled flowers you can wear in your hair! Wouldn’t you look lovely…

Our fifth victim was Whimsy with Coffey featuring cards and paintings of whimsical girls using bright colors in acrylics, pastels, inks, watercolors and markers. I love this card – my daughter is a teacher and it reminds me of her!
