I read all the time. I go through books like water. Many are mindless, some are mysteries, others action or suspense. Last year, I read a trilogy of books by Susan Beth Pfeffer. About something hitting the moon and the resulting aftermath. Those were a good read. Maybe a little far fetched, but kept my attention. Recently, I [...] I go to a book sale each month – sponsored by patrons of our local library. It’s a good way to help the library as well as get used books cheaply. The book sale used to be held in a long one story building – with lots of shelves and a large variety of books to browse [...] I mentioned that I am an avid reader. And both my children are as well. My youngest daughter, who has 3 daughters of her own, has passed on that love for a good book. Recently, I went to visit her and my granddaughters, during their spring break – and at times, you would see us all sitting [...] |
