In our house, we also use our beverage coasters beside each of our sinks - holding our hand washing soap dispensers to prevent drips that would have to be cleaned up. When ready to clean your beverage coasters, just put them in the wash with your towels and dishcloths.
Another handy idea is to put one of your beverage coasters underneath your hand lotion dispenser. On your dresser, or at the sink, these beverage coasters will help keep the furniture or sink clean as well.

In creating your beverage coasters, we use the subject you choose for half of the fabric layers and then a contrasting fabric for the other half. A layer of batting is added, and the beverage coaster is sewn using polyester thread. The seam allowance is trimmed and then the beverage coaster is turned right side out and pressed. So what you see when it's turned, is one fabric layer on the underside, and then folds of subject and contrasting fabric on the top. We use that side - which is thicker - for our glasses and cups to rest on.
