When we first started making designs for our custom tee shirts, we tested a number of styles and brands of shirts to find the perfect one to use for your custom tee shirts. We found that 100% cotton tee shirts worked the best, as the t-shirt fabric will roll back once it's been washed, and that's the effect that we were looking for when creating your custom tee shirts. You can see how we create these unique custom tee shirts using our special sewing and cutting technique on our How your design is created page. We also found that the Hanes Beefy T was the best t-shirt to use. These tee shirts come in men's sizes only and in a variety of colors. We have now added a Hanes Ladies Tee Shirt in a limited number of colors for our designs.
Why do we use Hanes tee shirts for your custom tee shirts? First of all we like the Hanes because they are high quality, a heavier weave, pre-shrunk and maintain their shape even after repeated washings. The men's sizes are roomier, have full-cut armholes and sides, and have tape that runs from shoulder to shoulder to give it a finished appearance inside the shirt. The ladies tees are tailored for women and slightly lighter in weight.
You will find a variety of custom tee shirts that will meet your needs and your preferences. You can select flowers or fruit designs for your custom tee shirts, animal designs for your custom tee shirts as well as a number of other themes.
Many of the designs on custom tee shirts are created on white tee shirts. Some on natural. The remainder on a variety of colors. Not everyone likes a white t-shirt, and while not shown, we would love to create your custom tee shirts on a color of your choice. We would then select fabric of the same theme, and create your unique custom tee shirts! We love special requests!

Since we started Sandi's T's, I have made and worn many of the custom tee shirts that you see on this page. And yes, these quality made custom tee shirts will last you for years! We do not stock pre-made custom tee shirts. We will start working on your t-shirt design when you place your order, and have it completed and shipped to you by priority mail within 3 weeks.
To care for your custom tee shirts, please wash inside out in cool water in the gentle cycle - no harsh detergents. Air dry and then fluff in dryer on air - no heat. This will give a soft feel to your tee shirt and prevent shrinkage. Some of our custom tee shirts have fabric paint embellishments. Air drying will keep the paint from cracking. We also use gems and buttons as an embellishment on some of your custom tee shirts. We use an adhesive that is strong. Air drying will allow the glue to stay flexible and maintain it's hold.
