I've always been so disappointed with the handbags that I find in the stores - they never have what I am looking for, never enough pockets, or too big, and I don't care for leather or plastic. Of course, this is a personal opinion. You may not feel that way.
Once I found the quilted handbags by Victorian Heart, I ordered a few to be able to see the quality, workmanship, and ease of care. I did not want to represent a company or it's selection of products if I wasn't satisfied with them myself! I was delighted when the order came, the colors and sizes of quilted handbags were just what I was looking for! Each bag has it's own benefits - depending what you are looking for. Lots of pockets or just a few, larger bags to carry all your essentials...
By the way, I chose the Taylor in the Vintage Blue pattern. I'm not really into crazy or loud colors, but I also wanted something that would not show the dirt easily. This bag is just right for me - you might want to see the Taylor in all the fabric patterns available too.
I just ordered and received the latest styles that Victorian Heart has to offer in their quilted handbags. These are the small and large book covers. Wow, the pictures do not do them justice! Not only do they have a slip pocket on the outside, but they also feature a small pocket on the inside that you can use for your reading glasses, or sunglasses. There is a fabric bookmark that is attached, an id window - if you don't want to carry a purse, and 2 pen or pencil loops. The small book cover will hold small bibles, small and mid sized paperbacks. The large book cover will protect your larger bibles and hardback books. They both come with a zippered closure and a handle.
Did you know that you can machine wash these quilted handbags. You can even dry your quilted handbag in the dryer on low heat. How great is that! The only one that can't be washed in the washing machine or dried in the dryer is the wrist strap wallet. But hand cleaning is sufficient for this quilted item, as it is usually stored in one of you other quilted handbags, to keep it easy to get to.
My husband and I are grandparents now, but we sure wish there had been good looking bags, like the quilted handbags from Victorian Heart, that we could use to carry all of our baby items, for those visiting or shopping trips. Why just going to the baby doctor, requires a large amount of 'things' for baby that you need to bring. Check out the ones that we now carry in the variety of fabric patterns such as Stars of America or our Vintage Blue.
